I picked this up thinking it would be clear and solid. CRC Press, decent price tag, all that. But honestly… it was disappointing. The content felt all over the place. Some ideas kept coming up again and again, while the parts I actually needed more detail on were just kind of skipped over. Made it hard to stay with it. For what I paid, I expected a lot more. Didn’t end up being very useful for me.

I reached out to customer service and waited a few days, but never heard anything back. It’s frustrating, and I expected at least some kind of reply. At this point, I’ve kind of just accepted it and moved on.

I was just trying to place a simple order, but the website seemed determined to make that difficult. Pages took their sweet time loading, the search results felt all over the place, and checkout somehow managed to be confusing more than once. Not exactly the smooth shopping experience you'd hope for, but sure, I eventually got through it.

I ordered a book from CRC Press and the checkout part was easy enough, so I expected the rest to be straightforward. But after that, it mostly turned into a waiting game. The tracking barely changed, and when I reached out to support, the replies felt like generic copy-and-paste answers rather than actual help. The book did eventually show up, but it was late and one of the corners was bent. I get that delays happen, but the lack of clear communication made the whole experience more frustrating than it needed to be. It reminded me how much good service matters after the payment goes through, not just before. I probably won’t order from them again.

Trying to return my order was way more annoying than it needed to be. The refund took forever, and I had to keep chasing them just to get an update. What a joke. Definitely not the kind of experience that makes me want to order again...

I was disappointed because I expected the proofreading to clean things up, but there were still so many obvious mistakes left in the final version that I kept spotting them as I read through it and it got really frustrating

I was looking on CRC Press because I only needed one chapter for a class, but the prices felt way too high, especially for ebooks that are still almost the same price as the printed version, and even after seeing a discount it still didn’t feel like a good deal. I’m sure the material itself is probably fine, but for a regular student or someone just trying to read one section, paying for the whole book just feels hard to justify.

I ordered a book I needed for one of my classes, the shipping took way longer than I expected. Maybe I’m a little impatient when it comes to school stuff, but the estimate made it seem like it would arrive much sooner. Instead, I ended up waiting almost two weeks with hardly any updates, which was frustrating when I actually needed the book on time.

I don’t know. Some parts were fine, I guess, but a few chapters just felt off. Like the authors were kind of talking around the topic instead of really knowing it. It made it hard for me to trust the book overall.

I was hoping it would cover a lot more topics, but I kept running into stuff that was either missing or barely touched on. Like, some sections were fine, but then I’d go looking for something specific and it just wasn’t really there. Maybe it works better for other people, I don’t know, but for what I needed it felt limited and not all that useful.

I’m still waiting on my order after three weeks, and it hasn’t shown up at all. Has anyone else had this happen? I’m starting to wonder if this is a common issue or if I just got unlucky.
